Voting criteria are personal to each club, but here's a starting framework:

| GA | range of shooting, drive-and-feed, court coverage | locking up under pressure |
| WA | feeding accuracy, mid-court vision, lateral movement | careless passes into the circle |
| C | engine room, defensive turnover, distribution | overcommitting, fatigue late |
| WD | shutting down feeds, mid-court intercepts | offside calls, pace mismatches |
| GD | one-on-one defence, deflections | over-the-top fouls |
| GK | rebounds, calm under pressure, body positioning | short rebounds, contact fouls |
